Bump In the back of my Gums?!
Question: Bump In the back of my Gums.?
its right above my second tooth in on the left top of my mouth and it hurts like a tooth ache like the tooth hurts.... and the bump hurts too
my dentist wasnt sure what it was and sent me to a orthodontists who said it was a cavity that was capped wrong and so a cavity was started under it and went to my root which killed the nerves and now that its just swelling from dead nerves (but if my nervs are dead THEN WHY IS IT HURTING.?0O) irritating the skin and they said to do a root cannal
im not so trusting of this dentist and my mom still had it done even though we wernt sure now its been 3 days sence the root cannal and it hurts even worse then before and even more swollen and now that the nervs are gone WHY IS IT STILL HURTING 0O
could it have been something else and what could it have been or will this just go away do u think he was right, im a bit scared because it hurts so much

Oh, definatly take the meds.. it will help the healing process, along with the salt water (not too salty though).. The swelling will go down.. It can take up to a week before it begins to heal depending on how involved the procedure was..Health Question & Answer
First are they having you do a warm salt water rinse.? This helps with healing and pain.. Antibiotics to fight infection.? You must have had an abscessed tooth.. That is the decay of the tooth below the gum.. Pain should be better by now so you should call your dentist.. If infected you do not want that to spread..Health Question & Answer
