Taking out tongue ring?!
Question: Taking out tongue ring.?
I got my tongue pierced nearly 6 years ago and I have it down to an 8 gauge.. I have been thinking about maybe one day taking it out for good.. Maybe I'm just being paranoid, but if I take it out, won't food get stuck in the hole and cause an infection.? How long will it take to close up.? Help please :-PHealth Question & Answer

I've been thinking about taking mine out also.... If you just brush your tongue really well and rinse with listerine, it should be ok.. Hopefully won't take too long to close!Health Question & Answer

but my friend has one and she took it out to show someone and when she was putting it back in she ended up swallowing it on accident.. and she had to put a little pin or something in the hole all day.. so yeeah.. just make sure you dont swallow it..
