Will dental braces set off the metal detector at the airport?!

No they will not, and even if they do, im sure the security will figure out what caused them......just make sure to smile!

I dont think so, and even if it does, they have a seperate hand metal detector that they use if the alarm goes off and they will soon find out that it was your braces, i was flying the other day and the metal detector beeped when i went through and it turned out to be the button on my jeans!

Know they don't.. I had braces the last time I flew two years ago and I got through easily.. Funny though, I didn't think about it that it may happen at the time..

Anyway, it doesn't.. I'm flying in two weeks and I don't have braces this time.. YAY!Health Question & Answer

I dont think they will but even if they do they wont say anything they will just let you through if they bleep.. I don't think they will thought - you should ask when you have to put your stuff through the xray thingy.. Anyway have a good hol : )
