MY BACK TOOTH ON MY LEFT IS YELLOW AROUND THE GUM LINE AT THE BOTTOM AND IT HURTS WHENEVER I TOUCH IT......is it a cavity.?Health Question & Answer

how long has it been there is the first question.? do your gums bleed easily.? if they did and now with the yellow around your gum it doesnt bleed but it hurts you might be experiencing gingivitis, if they never bleed easily(when you flossed) then its not gingivitis, 1 thing for sure is that is not a cavity, a cavity is not that color, its possible that it might be tooth decay, go to the dentist for a further evaluation,Health Question & Answer
It could be, but it is more likely to be abscess if there is a bump on your gum that hurts or it could be gingivitis.. Yellow color on the gum line may be tartar and you might need to go to a dentist get the tartar removed..Health Question & Answer
