Does the 5-second rule count for gum?!

Question: Does the 5-second rule count for gum.?
When a person drops food they pick it up and eat it before it stays on the ground for 5 seconds.. Does it apply to gum too.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
I really don't reccommend eating anything off the floor..
But, gum is very sticky and basically whatever it lands on will stick to it, which means you may end up eating dirt......
It's happened before, it isn't a pleasant experience, realising along with your floor-gum you now also have dirt and old food and god knows what else in your mouth..Health Question & Answer

i wouldnt recommend using that rule at all for gum because its wet and sticky and can pick up germs u dont even see.. and stuff like hair could be on it as well..
