It really does depend on you and how well you bounce back.. First off, if you're still on medication you really shouldn't drink.. Second, do you bounce back well and how is your pain tolerance.? My brother had all 4 pulled out the same day just as you are doing.. The nurse try to tell me that he would be out of commission for 3 or 4 days and probably wouldn't be able to go to work for at least 2 maybe 3 days.. She gave me some Percaset (sp.?) for him and that was it.. He went home, went to sleep & by that evening he got dressed, went out partying with his friends and went to work the next day.. He didn't take any of the medication, in fact he threw them away, and went to work the next day just as if nothing happened..

So it really does depend on you, how you handle pain, how well you bounce bck from surgeries, etc.. If you're anything like my brother then you shoudl be fine.. But just keep in mind, don't drink while you are on the medication they give you (if you have to take any) as alcohol definately does not mix with it..

Best of luck to you & I hope everything turns out well for you!Health Question & Answer

as long as you are not still taking pills for the pain, although i dont know if you will be recovered enough to even WANT to drink...... my sister got over her pain in one day and was up and fine not taking any pills and trying to eat anything she could.... but my best friend was out of commission for several days with pills and hardly eating cause she was in to much pain

good luck ........ but again as long as your not taking any medication you can drink!Health Question & Answer

So long as you don't mix it with the pain killers they give you after surgery.. But if drinking is the main thing you're thinking about right now, you might want need to take an honest look at just how important alcohol is to you..Health Question & Answer

If you are going to be taking medication for a week, then no it is not OK.. But if you are not, and is healed enough and not bothering you, then I don't see why not.. Cheers?Health Question & Answer
