If you are sure you have a permanent tooth, and it's in the right position, don't worry, it could take up to a year for it to errupt.. If an x-ray reveals the tooth is impacted in the bone or in an incorrect postion, you will need an operation to fit braces on to pull the tooth into the correct position..Health Question & Answer
