What is the difference between gag and throw up?!


Question: What is the difference between gag and throw up.?
people say they gagged when they got braces and some people say threw up when they got braces.. what is the difference.?Health Question & Answer

Gag: cough/wretch that comes before puking (makes a "wretch" sound) brush your tongue: when you hit the back, you may gag
Throwing up: vomit exits your mouth and hits the floor (or osme unlucky bystander............yuk!)Health Question & Answer

Throwing up is, well, puking up their food.. lol.. Gagging is a bit like throwing up, but nothing comes out! However, some people's gag reflexes are bad enough to where if they gag, they throw up.. Everytime.. But, I've never heard of anyone gagging/throwing up when they got their braces.. I didn't but that's just me.. :P

Gagging is when your stomach wants to throw up what is in there, but your stomach is empty so nothing comes out.. Throwing up is when you actually heave chunks...... you know what i mean.?Health Question & Answer
