its my wisdom tooth!! im gonna get it pulled but the dentist put me on antibiotics and vicadin for pain for a week..........im taking the meds but the pain is getting worse!! please help!!Health Question & Answer

Apply cold compress to the outside of the cheek just outside the area of pain.. This numbs the area and masks the pain.. Cold compresses are advised till you go and meet the dentist.. Do not use heat for toothache as it can spread infection..

when u pull it out , it will go away, why he didn't do it straight away, I did 2 of them in one session THEN I had antibiotics and in a few days I was as good as it could get..

oil of cloves..........thats what i use, not sure if you have it where u are, from the pharmacy.......... otherwise i find localised heat from a heatpack works wonders for me! I have similar prob with shitty wisdom tooth also, half snapped off and now im left with half of a very sore tooth......Health Question & Answer
go and get a product called Cepicane .. .. its a mouthwash and hopefully it will numb the area also some bicarb soda .. .. .. swish round your mouth for 20 seconds.. .. .. also u can get some amisan and swish in your mouth with warm waterHealth Question & Answer
