I have had lots of experience with the dentist and have even had all my wisdom teeth pulled out while only under novacane......I even had a brand new dentist pull my wisdom's out......The worst part of the dentist for me is getting the novacane......just remember to relax and work with the dentist.. It is really not that bad and I am not promising it won't be a little painful......I would actually rather have fillings than get my teeth cleaned! Getting fillings is not supposed to hurt, so if it starts hurting let them know immediately because sometimes they are a little off with the novacane or it will start weraing off.. you will be numb, you should not feel anything, and if you do raise your leg or grunt, just don't grab his hand.. and i can assure you that there are many ppl that take u seriously.. call your dentist, talk with the front desk, the assistant, or even your hygienist, many your office offers sedation, or some option, they are there for you and take your dental health very serious.. don't ever neglect your dental care bc of fear bc there are options, you just have to speak up..Health Question & Answer
You really need to calm down, seriously.. It is not painful at all.. U can be so scared that no amount of lido given to u by the dr.. will help.. I am a dental assistant and know what I am talking about.. So just calm down plz.. If u r that scared, talk to ur dr.. about putting u to sleep.. Most dr.. don't and won't do it unless that is their specialty.. U might want to look for a dentist that specializes in dealing with people such as yourself (scared) and they would b the ones most likely to put u to sleep while they do ur dental procedures..

im like the master of fillings trust me it really dosent hurt at all i was so scared at first but sincethey numb u u dnt feel anything and when they numb u if ur worried about tht hurting thts only a tiny poke u cant feel either the only thing is its a tad uncomfertable cuz u have to open ur mouth wide and keep it open but on the pain front its really not bad just try and breath and keep calm prepare yourself for the worst but hope for the best thatswhati always say lol but in general it is not painfulHealth Question & Answer
I'm sorry! The dentist is no fun at all :(.. But honestly, it isn't too painful.. Let the dentist and hygenist know that you are scared and they will be extra gentle on you.. also, ask if you can have nitrous oxide........it totally calms you down while they're doing everything and it's kinda fun haha.. Spend the extra money..
Let the dentist know you have a phobia, and ask him to "knock you out" for your fillings..

no it doesnt hurt cuz they numb u with this gas then they give u a shot in the gums 4 extra numbing..
