im suppose to get a root canal next monday and im so scared! the dentist just freaks me out whenever im there i start to panic really bad! its embarrising but i cant help it! should i get laughing gas or something.? do you pay extra for that.?.?

Nothing to panic about..really..I ve had it sometime ago..All they do is put an injection that would anesthesize tou tooth and then you would not even feel any pain..However the bad part is that you have to open your mouth continously for 2 hours!!

Root canals are not painful anymore.. The only thing that is painful is the shots that they give you to numb your mouth.. I would ask them to give you laughing gas, I think it depends on the doctor if they will or not..Health Question & Answer
DENTISTS scare the hell out of everyone........BUT......
nowadays there is little to NO pain involved..
They will make sure you have no pain........afterwards, they will give you pain pills..........REALLY....it is nothing anymore, sweetie..
