Question: Can i get this done to my teeth!.?!.?!.?
my teeth are not not completely flat, they are slightly dented in at the top near the gums (i didnt really know how to explain this).. it's not extremely obvious but it bothers me and i was wondering if theres anything dentists can do.. i was also wondering if dentists can file your teeth along the ends so theyre flat......and if you could also tell me about how much it would cost for this to be done that would be GREAT!!!Health Question & Answer

The denting along the gumline is tooth brush abrasion, over time causes recession of the gum tissue and the softer part of the tooth is exposed, it can be filled in with tooth colored filling however the cost would be the same as if it were a cavity being filled (which can add up depending on the amnt of teeth).. Yes dentists can file those natural grooves down.. Approx cost to fill the recession can cost any where from $80+ per tooth, and the smoothing down can be done for free if your getting the fillings as they would already be smoothing down the fillings.. Well, I wish I could tell u the cost, but all I can say is that they can fill in the dented areas with a certain type of filling.. They match it up with your regular teeth color and smooth it on to your teeth..Health Question & Answer
