IV Put In?!?!
Question: IV Put In.?!.?
I am having my wisdom teeth taken out soon.. They will put me out with an Iv.. 1 hour before I go I will take a prescription pill to make me relax.. I have never had an IV before and am really freaking out! Can anyone relate to my problem and tell me if you will even know they put it in.? Thanks..Health Question & Answer

I've had my fair share of IVs within the last couple of years.. Most of the nurses I had were pretty good about it and there's only a little pinch when it goes in.. I almost think it's less painful than getting a shot.. I wouldn't worry about it too much.. The suspense just makes it seem worse..Health Question & Answer
You will know, but the meds kick in so quickly, you dont have time 2 think about it.. No worries!
