I HATE THEM SO MUCH! i know what you mean because I get them too.. Even when you cant see them you can feel them lodged deep inside your tonsils which is why you feel that bump in your throat.. One thing that kind of helps me to dislodge them is to add 3-4 drops of grapefruit seed extract (which naturally acts as an antibiotic) to 1/2 cup of water, stir, then gargle with the whole mixture.. Follow up with mouthwash.. Do it often and you wont have the problem as much..

Warning: grapefruit seed extract is very concentrated so use NO MORE than 4 drops (no less than 3) to 1/2 cup of water.. Good luck!Health Question & Answer

I don't know if this is the same thing or not but my husband used to get a feeling like he had a tennis ball stuck in his throat (I think it was only when he ate/drank).. His doctor said it's common for some people that have trouble with their stomach acid (reflux etc) and that they could strectch his esophagus..

It is an outpatient procedure where they sedate you and gently enlarge your esophagus.. I'm not sure on exactly how it's done but sometimes it works the first time and sometimes it takes a few tries.. Hubby had it done 3 times and it's been over a year and he's been good.. It did work the two first times, it just came back fairly fast (within 2 months) so they did it again..

I would definately go to a gastro/intentinal doctor asap.. Esp if you are uncomfortable or it's hard for you to eat/drink..

Hope this helps.. Take care and feel better!!
