Question: I just had all 4 wisdom teeth removed.......?
my teeth were impacted but the day i got home i felt fine.. Now 4 days later i am in alot of pain.. I cant sleep through the night and have to brush my teeth constantly due to the bad taste in my mouth that never goes away.. I have pain meds but they make my stomach really upset.. Is this normal or should i be worried.?Health Question & Answer

Hello!! What is sounds like you are describing is dry socket.. Have you sucked on a straw while drinking, ate anything warm.? These are a few of the ways to get dry socket.. I would give the surgeon a call Monday morning and see if you can get an appointment asap.. If you swoosh your mouth with water and salt, it should help keep it nice and clean untell you can see a doctor.. Lastly, if you are taking the pain medicines given by the doctor, make sure your eating a full meal before hand or drinking a glass of milk.. Those powerfull meds can really upset your stomach.. Get some rest tonight and give the doctor a call in the morning..

Its normal but i wouldnt be brushing my teeth if i were you.. This can irratate the spot where you had the teeth removed.. I dont think i brushed my teeth for a few days after i had mine done.. Did you do ice like you were supposed to.? Get frozen bags of corn and ice you face every now and then.. Since you cant take those pain meds i would ask the doc for differnet ones or take IB profin or some other pain releiver.. IB profin is good because it helps with swelling.. also you should be rinsing with warm salt water..Health Question & Answer
