Implant teeth questions..?!
Question: Implant teeth questions.....?
I have to get two done.. I will be going to Korea in a couple of months and I think I might to it there, as it might be cheaper..
I just saw a clip of a procedure and it looks really painful.. Can anyone tell me if it hurt.? How long would I have to stay in Korea to get the two done.? Is this possible.?

I am going through that now..
First I got a root canal (not too bad but painful)..
The tooth cracked (6zx#8uytg!!!!!!)
They extracted the tooth (4 shots of novocaine)
and placed in a bone graft covered by a collagen wafer(no pain as the Novocaine was already working)..
Total recovery time is 2 months.. Then they put in the implant.. Two more months of recovery before they can put on the crown..
My graft is taking nolw (according to the x-ray this morning).. I'm assuming the worst is over already.. I don't think the implant will be worse than what I've been through already (Provided the bone graft is entirely sucessful..)
It looks like you would need to get the first two steps done in the same country (1-extraction and bone grafting and 2-implant).. Probably the crown can be done in another country.. That means you would have to spend at lest 2 months in one place.. Why not ask.?Health Question & Answer

It can be painful when you get the shots and after the procedure..
Remember, they will test the strength of your jawbone/ density (at least that's what they do in the States, don't know about Korea) and then decide whether to proceed or not..
