i just found thiss out tuesday.. my dentist told me it was 4-6hrs.. but it can be longer or it can be shorter.. novacaine for me wears off in about 20min til 2hoursHealth Question & Answer
it stays "local" (doesn't act systemically) & the numbness should B gone in 3 - 5 hrs..Health Question & Answer
