Question: Should I tell my orthodontist.?
Luckily, my teeth don't hurt anymore from my braces.. But on the ends, two of the wires are a little bit too long.. They dig into my cheeks (now I have two holes), and it's extremely painful everytime I open and close my mouth.. Should I call my orthodontist and ask to clip them off.? any problems with sores in your mouth from dental equipment should be immediately reported to your dentist
cause that could mean things such as a bad placement possibly resulting in your teeth not ending up where they should be

For now get some orthodontic wax to put over the ends of the wires so that they don't dig in while you are waiting and then get your orthodontist to cut them back..Health Question & Answer

Yea tell him and then they will just cut the wires down for you.. Had the same problem before and it's much better when you get it sorted!Health Question & Answer
Very common, he will cut them.. as the teeth shift the wires are longer bc they are straighter..Health Question & Answer
