What do people think of braces?!
Question: What do people think of braces.?
i dont know about you but i hate them.. unfortunately i have to get them for 18 months.. i am going to be 16 1/2 when i get them off.. it seriously sucks.. will they totally ruin my life because thats how i am feeling about them right now.. what do you think of them.?Health Question & Answer

i think that braces are just a phase that a lot of people go through.. they aren't as bad as most people make them out to be.. most people see them as an accessory, and people don't really care if someone has them or not.. good luck, and don't be so upset.. after a while, you won't know they are there..Health Question & Answer
I totally thought braces would ruin my life back when I was 14! I had them for 2 years and I had a funny smile with them on..
But now that I'm out of high school, my time with braces feels like it was a decade ago even though it was probably only three years.. And I am so happy I go them.. You get such nice, straight teeth afterwards and your smile becomes nicer, your face naturally looks prettier, and it's just a great feeling knowing that those months of annoying braces paid off!
And if you get them off at 16 1/2, it'll be before your high school graduation if that applies to you, which means you'll look amazing during your grad year!Health Question & Answer

no they won't ruin your life.. I thought the same thing when I got mine......but people won't think differently of you or anything......they used to think that you were a geek or somethin if you had braces.. But about 25-50% of the population have them now......you'll get used to them and won't even notice them......but you can deffinatly expect to have them longer than 18 months......I was told 18-24 months and I've had them for 3 years......so you'll probably be 17 or so before you get them off......but good luck......and you'll be just fine......Health Question & Answer
No braces wont totally ruin your life.. Unless you get hit with sumthing while your mouth is close, that may hurt.. But when i was wearing my braces life just went on normally.. The only thing is that it takes a while to floss and you can hide in the bathroom and do sumthing else and tell ur parents that flossing is taking even longer it only takes 10-15 miniutes reeally if your good at it.. Plus you have to keep on looking toward the brightside, youll have nice and straight teeth.. PLus at least your still a teen because i only think adults or old ppl wearing braces look kind of funny LOL!Health Question & Answer
Braces are not considered dorky or nerdy anymore..
Believe me, you may not like getting braces, but when you get them off you will be thrilled with the results.. Do you want to have crooked teeth.? There's nothing better than a great smile with nice, even teeth..

ya i just got my braces on 2 and i like them bc they are going to fix my teeth and make them look pretty and straight but i dont like the fact of dating with them i mean im 13 and i want a boyfriend but what if he dosent want to have a girlfriend that has brace.. im going through the same thing..Health Question & Answer

WELL TO ME THEY ACTUALLY DO SUCK......BUT IT ACTUALLY LOOKS GREAT ON SOME OTHER PEOPLE......SO MAYBE THEY WOULD GO GOOD WITH u......WETHER THEY DO OR NOT, u CAN STILL GET THOSE BRACES THAT u CANT SEE......BUT i AM 15 AND TURNING 16 ON FEBRUARY AND i NEED THEM TOO......n EVEN THOUGH i DONT LOOK GOOD IN THEM i AM STILL GONNA GET THEM BEFORE THAY GET WORSE!!!BUT THATS JUST ME......NOW u DECIDE......HOPE IT HELPED! =)Health Question & Answer
