Does it hurt to get an abscessed tooth pulled???!

Heloo well its just like getting another tooth pulled out I think .. when i got 2 teeth taken out in february this is ehat they did.. They numbed my mouth and then I couldent feel anything and then I had to wait outside for 10 minuites.. When I went back in they just took it out and it dident hurt atall.. The only part that hurt was because my dentist was pushing my head against the chair when he was doing it :)

Yes, they'll numb you up pretty good.. It might be a little sore afterwards, but Advil or Tylenol usually controls that.. If it doesn't, then they can give you something a little stronger.. It won't hurt for long..Health Question & Answer

If you're put to sleep, you won't feel a thing.. They usually give you a choice whether to stay awake or go to sleep.. I highly recommend the latter, if only to avoid the * sounds *..Health Question & Answer

They will numb you, but you should be taking antibiotics first.. If they pull it while it is still infected the medicine they give to numb you doesn't work as well..Health Question & Answer
