Question: Dental experts,a hard question.?
What would cause hot/cold sensitivity after having a bridge done last year and a crown done 2 weeks ago on the rear tooth........the sensitivity is coming in between the 2 porcelian crown/bridge placements,near the gum..

(I looked in a magnifying mirror and saw a lil vein that is bluish in color on my gum nearing the crowned tooth..) Ouchy,please help.. TyHealth Question & Answer


Answers:
you know when you have bridge or crown, the dentist will make your tooth smaller by grinding it, and put a jacket, and when it become smaller, the sensitivity is increases, (if you had root canal treatment done in that particular tooth, there will be no sensitivity cos the tooth is basically dead).. probably, there's leak in the crown or bridge.... cos if there's jacket, it's not supposed to be sensitive

juz took a periapical x-ray in the particular tooth and ask your dentist to check it =)Health Question & Answer
