Question: How do you get rid of swollen gums when you have braces.?
i clean my teeth 2-3 times a day......even with a proxy brush......so what else can i do.?....please helpHealth Question & Answer
Answers:
brush after every meal, buy a water pick, and use listerine..
When you brush, make sure you get under the gums.. My ortho told me you aren't brushing good enough if your gums don't bleed.. This might be a little much, but yeah.. Just make sure you get up right to the gum line, to get all the bacteria..
If they are still swollen after a week, then talk to your ortho or regular dentist..
