tooth colored fillings lasts for 5 years (the ideal is to change it every 5 years) but if you have no problem with your old filling, then,, no need to change to a new one

Both can last indefinitely if properly done.. Crowns, in particular, are extremely durable; I have had one for forty years..Health Question & Answer
