nothing go i think its ridiculous that people are scares of the dentist they arnt going to do anything to your teeth w/o your consent he isnt going to get in your mouth and start drilling.. Keep up with your periodic exams your yearly bitewing xrays and your cleanings.. Theres nothing to be scared about.. If you some how do convince your mom not to take you, it will just be rescheduled and you will have your anxiety and nervousness for longer.. Just get it over with, and everything will be okay..

I know the thought of seeing a dentist can be quite scary but honestly you shouldn't worry about it.. Normally it is just for a check up anyway but if anything needs to be done like a filling for example you will always be numb for it so there is no pain..
I used to be so worried about seeing the dentist but I find the best way to get through it is to just sit and think about something you really like that will take you mind off of what is happening.. As long as you keep very calm and don't tense up you will be fine..

You should go face your fears.. Tell your mom you're scared and see what she says.. You can take something to do like a book or a game.. Everyone has to go to the dentist in their life, so you might as well get it over with, then you won't have to go for 6 months! Be brave..Health Question & Answer
