Toothpastes don't really do any whitening, but because they remove some amount of stain, the manufactures are able to call the "whitening" toothpastes..
Natural ways to whiten teeth do not exist.. Some people on here say rub strawberries on your teeth.. I can't see how that help..
The best way to whiten teeth is with 10-16% carbamide or hydrogen peroxide gels.. Used either in trays for a few hours at home, or light or laser activated in a dentist's chair.. But of course this is more expensive than the Crest Whitestrips.. The reason why no natural ways to whiten teeth exist is this; using the peroxide gels will make your teeth sensitive.. That is because the peroxide is opening up the enamel rods and oxygenating the enamel to whiten them.. The sensitivity is temporary once you stop using the gel, but this tells you that it is doing something.. It doesn't hurt your teeth enamel, just make sure it stays off your gum tissue..
