Why do two of my teeth look a bit transparent?!

Question: Why do two of my teeth look a bit transparent.?
The bottoms of my two front teeth are just looking......no longer opaque!.?! I'm afraid that they're getting thin and I need to know why and how to stop it! I'm only in my 20's..
I brush my teeth a LOT (maybe too much.? but I just can't help it; I feel like I have to brush them)..
And I drink maybe 1-2 cans of diet pop a day.. I used to mix lemon-juice with all my water, too because it tastes tangy, but I recently stopped..
Do your teeth look transparent.? How can I fix it or slow it down.? Health Question & Answer

I doubt that at your young age that you have worn off all of your enamel.. All teeth have transparency, some more than others and especially at the incical or biting edge.. Just as every persons teeth aren't exactly the same shade, neither is the amount of transparency.. Let your dentist check your teeth at your next appointment, I'm sure you are just fine.. The top 2 front teeth naturally have some of what's called incisal transparency, this sounds like all it is that you have.. However I will say its good you stopped with the lemon juice, that destroys enamel.. I mean mixed with water it isn't as bad as long as there isn't tons, but still best to stay away from that.. Anyway, sounds like a normal thing with your teeth, if you're too concerned then just ask your dentist..Health Question & Answer

Sounds like you wore off some enamel.. Could be from grinding your teeth, acid wear, rough brushing or a bad bite..
Try a soft toothbrush, limit the acids and try brushing with baking soda to neutralize the acids.. also try a rinse such as Act Restoring Mouthwash as it can help strengthen your enamel..Good luck!Health Question & Answer
