Braces...!

i just got braces too.. it took me about 3 or 4 days to be able to eat properly.. and i didn't really have too much trouble with talking so i am sure that will go away soon..

the pain only lasted a few days too.. tylenol helps though.. and make sure if you feel like your braces are cutting your cheeks or your lips, that you put the wax on your braces.. it REALLY helps me!Health Question & Answer

You'll probably only be able to eat pudding and applsauce etc.. for a good 3 days and you should be talking in normally in 2-3 days i have braces too its sucks i know lol.. The pain should stop in a day or two but when you get them tightened it will hurt again sorry to be the bearer of bad news sweetie Good Luck Hun :]Health Question & Answer

I got braces yesterday! i have been taking 2 paracetamol every 4 hours and the pain has been almost non- existent except for a lil bit of aching.. i cant eat well but have been living on tinned spaghetti and soup! gd luck!Health Question & Answer

It's really different for each person.. For some it takes about a couple of days other it takes a week or so.. For me it took about 2 days to talk normally.. The pain will go away in a few days..

your mouth should feel fine in about three days
you should be able to talk very soon
eat soft foods(pudding, applesauce, etc..) it makes it hurt less
