Question: Is there any way to numb your mouth without a shot.?
I have to get a filling and my dentist recommended that I get a numbing shot for the pain, but I'm very afraid of needles.. Is there another way to numb my tooth without the needle.? Maybe something like a gel.?Health Question & Answer

Orajel is *not* going to work, it's an oral anaestetic, and a filling requires going inside of a tooth, which orajel does not numb..
Laughing gas still makes you feel things, but you don't care..
Your best bet is the novocaine shot, it's really painless compared to the other alternative, feeling everything..

Either some laughing gas; or orajel.. Im not sure how long the orajel would last during a filling so I recommend the laughing gas..Health Question & Answer
