Is there a toothpaste that actually whitens teeth?!

Question: Is there a toothpaste that actually whitens teeth.?
hi..
i am getting treatment on my 2 front teeth in 3 weeks, i'm not exactly sure what they are doing.... i think they are drilling off the enamel & filling it with white filler to match my teeth.?

anyways..
obviously they will be matching this filler to my other teeth..

however i am not happy with my current tooth colour.. is there a toothpaste or something you can buy from a uk store that doesn't break the bank but actually improves the whiteness of teeth.?

i would really appreciate any suggestions..
& please no nasty comments.. :)

thank you.. sarah.. xHealth Question & Answer

toothpastes in the UK can help remove stains but won't actually whiten the enamel as they're not allowed to contain peroxide unlike the ones for sale in USA.. Professional whitening only.. Ask your dentist when your there next.. Health Question & Answer

Baking soda is great-if you can get past the temporary bad taste.. I like to mix the baking soda with a tiny bit of warm water so it is just damp (A paste texture) Then I usually do a gargle too Or if the UK has it but Dental Care toothpaste OR any brand that has the baking soda mixed in it.. This is the cheapest way to go.. Happy smiling!!Health Question & Answer

try disclosing tablets and get them from boots or a chemist and have 1 every 1-2 nights..
they stain the teeth red or blue it depends what tablets you get and it shows where the plaque so you know where to brush..
p..s.. the blue tablets are better
hope this helps..xHealth Question & Answer

Honestly, I've tried all those toothpastes that are supposed to whiten teeth, and none of them really work.. The Crest Whitening Strips work more than anything.. But If you mix your toothpaste with a little baking soda about twice a week, that works REALLY good..Health Question & Answer

Euthymol is pretty good.. It's an old fashioned type toothpaste but i think it's widely available..
Some people find the taste really strong but its not bad at all.. Health Question & Answer
