Use a different mouthwash! Yes, you can rinse with water after Listerine, but why not use Reach restoring mouthwash that is more effective and tastes better (I like the cinnamon).. You don't need to have so much alcohol in a mouthwash--it's irritating..

I always rinse my mouth after using mouth wash because in my religion we don't drink alcohol, so I don't want to risk swallowing any.. It won't hurt you not to, but I always like to rinse.. Try not to swallow though, it's not really good for you..Health Question & Answer
like someone else said, get a non-alocholic mouthwash.. listerine may kill germs, but then it dries out your mouth which is counterproductive.. plus it tastes like shite (which doesn't 'prove it works')..Health Question & Answer
