Question: How long do i have to wait to brush my teeth.?
i just got some fillings done and i am wondering if i need to wait a while before i brush and floss my teeth..

If it is a silver filling (amalgam) then you may need to wait a couple of hours to floss or chew something hard especially if it was a large filling.. If the filling is tooth colored (composite) then you don don have to wait.. It is a resin material and it sets as soon as they shine the bight blue light in it..Health Question & Answer

you don't have to wait long at all! when i had my filling done i had to wait only 1 hour without drinking, or eating.. after that, i could eat, drink, brush and floss..Health Question & Answer
