But, really, we reccomend that all dental plates and partials be buried with the person, as they wore them in life........It helps during viewing to keep their mouth shape..
Braces........IDK......if it was requested that they be removed by the family, otherwise there would be no point..........

i would think they would use the braces to help wire your mouth shut.. it would make it easier to do so for sure.. i'm sure they would leave them on.. a dentist isn't going to come by the mortuary just to take off some braces off a dead guy.. and the mortician could care less..Health Question & Answer
