No, it tastes nasty.. If you want a substitute try baking soda.. It doesn't taste all that nice either but it sure beats bar soap! Plus, it's good for your teeth.. It is natural and has the ability to clean your teeth well--slightly abrasive without damaging your teeth--so you get a nice, good clean mouth..
