What does it mean when your gum?!
Question: What does it mean when your gum.?
...... When a part of the gum is only sensitive to brushing it with a tooth brush.? does it mean your brushing too hard.? or cavities .? Health Question & Answer

If you feel sensitivity it is on the tooth, I would recommend using a soft toothbrush and sensodyne TP.. Hard brushing causes the gums to recede and exposes softer part of the tooth (dentin).. You could get a filling to cover that area however it is not a cavity (unless you notice a color change such as brown then it may be a cavity).. Needless to say use the sensodyne and the sensitivity should diminish with time..
If it is your gums that are sore/bleeding then it may be that you have tartar under the gums and is causing irritation.. A dental cleaning is recommended then..Health Question & Answer
