Braces Question! Does it hurt?!

Question: Braces Question! Does it hurt.?
Hey
so I currently have braces on my top set of teeth, and soon they will be putting on the bottom set..
they're called "damon system" braces..
when i got braces on the top set, it did pain quite a bit for the first while..
does it hurt just as much for the bottom.? also, will they be more/less/equally visible than my top set.?
Thanks!Health Question & Answer

the bottoms will hurt too.. its just like the top.. It kind of depends on your mouth wether or not they'll be visible.. in general, bottom braces aren't as noticeable because your bottom teeth don't show as much.. When my friend smiles and talks i can't see her braces, but when i do you can.. It all depends.. but they probably wont be really noticeable.. Health Question & Answer

hell ya man!!!i got them a long time ago but i got them taken off and now i'm weren retainers.. as long as you don't bite your teeth or eat ANYTHING hard like chips for at least 1 to 2 weeks.. like me-i ate oatmeal for a little while and some other soft food then i started eating chips and all the other normal foods again.. careful wat u eat tho, it can crack ur bracket off the glue then u'll have to keep on goin back 2 ur orthodontistHealth Question & Answer

I have braces and I think that they hurt more when they put them on your bottom teeth.. It's more painful when wearing spacers and while they put the metal bands around your molars for anchorage.. also, it's uncomfortable from the pressure afterwords.. I hope this helps and good luck!Health Question & Answer

I guess it depends on how crooked your teeth are on the bottom compared to the top.. If the bottom teeth are more crooked, they will probably hurt worse than the top.. They will probably be less visible than the top set though..Health Question & Answer

It hurt for the first 2 weeks, then it ached for about 2 days after I got them tightened, but it wasn't anything bad..Health Question & Answer
