Question: Is this common for people who have braces.?
Ok so im getting braces in 4 days and i was wondering what the average price is (even though my parents already know what they have to pay).. Dont worry we are not poor or anything but they have to pay like $4,200 or something like that and I was wondering if that was an average price for braces or they are just charging my parents more.? it's not a big deal i'm just curious.. Thank you!!

Yes that sounds like a typical price for braces.. However, some orthodontists charge more than others so you might want to look around for someone who is a little bit cheaper.. But I wouldn't worry about being overcharged.. That price is normal..

thats about right, mine costed $4,800, and we aren't the wealthist people.. But yeah, i think the price depends on how long you will have them, i have to have them for 2 years, ive had the for 1 1/2.. Health Question & Answer
they charge based on the amount of time you are going to have them on.. so no its not the same for everyone, but that is about what mine cost..Health Question & Answer
