Root canals, I have to see a specialist?!
Question: Root canals, I have to see a specialist.?
My dentist informed me I have "too long of roots" for him to deal with, so he sent me to a specialist to have 3 root canals done.. My insurance covers some, but I have to pay $300 up front per tooth for them to be done.. Plus, I'm assuming I'll need crowns.. I have way too many bills each month, and I know I should take better care of my teeth.. But what should I do.? I need them fixed before they get infected/abscessed, but I cannot afford it.. Are there any alternatives.?Health Question & Answer

Look into purchasing a discount plan that can save you money on your out-of-pocket expenses.. You can then work out a payment plan with the specialist for the balance you will owe..
My discount plan is currently through www..DentalDiscountsPlus..com.. I have been with them for about 2 years now and will never go back to traditional dental insurance..
