well last week I got a filling.. I had 2 fillings this year.. first time it was ok.. but second time which was last week hurt! my dentist said that it was a tough filling but he managed to fill it.. Now it hurts alot, the tooth.. when I drink cold stuff it hurts and sometimes hot stuff.. it hurts at night too before I go to sleep.. I'm going to my dentist in a couple of days so please don't tell me I should go there I am, I have an appointment already.. but I wanna know why does it hurt.? did he do a mistake or something.? :( Health Question & Answer

If it is the new composite fillings, then this is totally normal.. Some pain can last up to 3 months.. These fillings are great, because they blend in so well with the tooth, but they can be a pain because, well, they can cause pain! If it was a deep cavity, then that is another reason it could be causing you pain.. I wouldn't worry about it.. If it hurts that bad, I would drink through a straw, and take an Advil or Tylenol.. no it is not dentist mistake it your teeth that is know fully finished by cavity now there is only 1 way is to take it off after that you feel relax & there will be no more pain

I know what you mean, i got a couple a few days ago and they are super duper sensitive.. i think its just like that until you get used to it..Health Question & Answer
