Well how long have you had them on.? If you just got them on give it a week and you said 16 rubber bands!.?! Jesus, I had 4 max and I thought that was bad........16 does seem like a lot that's probably the reason why your jaw hurts, that must be why your teeth hurt.. The best thing I could tell you to do is go to your orthodontist and explain the problem..Health Question & Answer
