Question: I had a tooth out about 3wks now.?.?

Hey folks, I had a tooth out about 3 wks tomorrow(Tuesday) and I am still in pain with it, I have already been back to the dentist once and she put a gel pack in the hole for me, she gave me some painkillers but still no different am I best going back to the dentist again.?

Last time she said it was a dry socket, will it be the same again.?

I had 6 teeth taken out trust me they hurt for ages, just stick to eating soft foods, or soup for now.. In a few days maybe go on to eating harder foods, if the pain still persists i would go back to your dentist and get them to do an x-ray to see if there is a problem..
I rested for ages and slept with a hot water bottle near my mouth/cheek it seemed to work, im not sure if it will help relieve the pain.. Hope it gets better Health Question & Answer
