My tooth felt really loose and when people looked at it it looked like it moved.. I have braces also.. I'm gonna make an appointment witht the dentist....but i was just wondering if its loose from the hit or is it because the braces leaves ur teeth loose.?Health Question & Answer

I am a dental hygienist and I would say that it is because of the hit.. Braces don't don't make your tooth so loose that you can see it moving.. It is a good idea to make an appointment with your dentist just to see how traumatized the tooth is.. They will take an x ray to see if the ligament around the tooth is swollen.. If it is, they will have to keep and eye on it and possibly put you on an antibiotic.. Health Question & Answer
