Question: How do I find out if Tricare Prime covers braces.?

I call them and there dumb about it, i just want to know does it depend on what dentist you go to.? or what.?

If you have to pick a dental provider from a list, then it does matter which dentist you see.. You need to get a list of providers.. I am sure they have a website.. Pick a general dentist and if the plan covers ortho, the dentist can refer you to an Orthodontist.. Many plans will not give coverage without a referral from a general dentist..
