Depends on how much work needs to be done to your teeth and also how fast your body naturally allows your gums to move those teeth around.. I am getting braces soon too and that's what I was told.. My one friend had her's on for about 6 mos before her teeth were perfect and another of my friends took about 4 years before her's where okay to be removed.. Health Question & Answer

It depends on the severity of the issue.. I had pretty misalligned teeth, and I only had to have braces for about a year and a half.. Normally, it's no more than that, and sometimes maybe even a little bit less.. So anywhere from 1-2 years, unless you have a really severe case..Health Question & Answer

I had mine on for about a year and a half, but my friend needs to have them on for two years at least.. It really depends on how bad your teeth are and how much time it would take to make them perfect.. If you have fangs it might take a little longer because they have to move them down heaps..
Hope this helpsHealth Question & Answer

well......i have braces and it is usually on for 2 years.. sometimes it might depend on your re-action with the teeth.. i have three visits and i'll be done forever! so i guess 2 years......

It depends on the condition of your teeth before the braces are put on.. If your teeth are wildly crooked it will take more time to straighten than it would if your teeth are just mildly so..Health Question & Answer

Your orthodontist is supposed to give you an ESTIMATE when you get your consultation/x-rays/molds done.. Ask him as he is the only one who would REALLY have an idea..Health Question & Answer
