It is better to avoid drinks which are either too hot or too cold immediately after any dental treatment.. Especially if your mouth is still numb you might scald it.. There is also the issue of increased sensitivity.. You won't do any damage but I guess it's at your risk as they say..Health Question & Answer
IMO It is not recommended - purely 'cos you do not realise just how hot the drink is..

if i remember correctly you cant have anything which touches the tooth, i had a milkshake straight after and used a straw to keep it away from the tooth.. what you may find is everything tastes horrid even things you like..Health Question & Answer
