Hello......Implant teeth are not designed to be taken out at will by the patient......If your having a single tooth implant the crown will be cemented over the implant post and removing it would require a dentist to do so and only if it had gone bad.. The implant itself is drilled down into the bone and the bone fuses to the titanium and irremovable.. If you have dentures the denture itself can be fashioned with a type of snap device where you can snap off and on the teeth from the implant sticking up out of the gums..

the actual implant fuses to your bone..
the final on top is cemented over the implant..
if this tooth is in an esthetic area, the dentist may make a flipper that you can wear while you are waiting for the implant to integrate.. once integration is established your final crown will be cemented..Health Question & Answer
