I got my braces off almost three months ago; I got plastic retainers in their place.. My orthodontist said to wear them 24/7 (but I cheated a bit! :P) But I lost them just under a hour ago and I'm getting (I think) the metal ones next Wednesday.. Should I be worried.?Health Question & Answer

Chances are there will be some relapse in the space of a week, but that just means the new retainer will be a bit uncomfortable for a few days while your teeth adjust.. A week without a retainer *shouldn't* be a problem.. If you're that concerned, you can always call your dentist..Health Question & Answer
