How much can I expect to pay for all of this?!
Question: How much can I expect to pay for all of this.?
I am currently looking for a new dentist...
as I don't have insurance, I want to make sure that I'm not getting over-charged...
So about how much will it cost to get a cleaning, x-rays and to get, say, 3 or 4 cavities filled.?

Answers:
It depends upon where you live- an initial visit exam, cleaning & updating any x-rays would be about $182-$205 depending on what x-rays are needed and also how long it has been since your last cleaning-you could require a more extensive cleaning if it has been awhile....The cost of filling depends on what tooth, the size of the decay etc.Your best bet would be to find a dentist who gives a free consult..My dentist is in Minnesota and he offers for patients who do not have insurance a Free initial exam and updating any x-rays at no charge....up to about $280 in value-this is designed for people like you who do not go to the dentist because of no insurance--this way your are able to get an idea of what you are looking at cost wise. Check out his website@www.britesmilesdentalcare.com If you are not in the area look for something similar or perhaps if would be cheaper to get a plane ticket and come see him--- lol Good Luck!Health Question & Answer
Depending on where you live the cleaning could cost you $47, exam $14 and the fillings around $140 (that depends on which tooth and how large of a cavity you have). Where do you live.? The plan is only $19.95/mo and comes with dental, vision, chiro, and prescription discounts. If you'd like information about it feel free to email.Health Question & Answer
