I know how you feel... I've been there. Well... a lot of us, actually. I've had my braces for about a month and a half. When I ate, I ate anything soft and don't forget yummy! Here is a list of what you can eat:
mashed potatoes
apple sauce
jello
pudding
ice cream
fried bananas

what i did, was swallow little cut up pieces of spaghetti, or macaroni and cheese. i also got a banana and mushed it all together and added cinnamon and sugar. it's delicious!

remember to always brush your teeth 3-4 times a day, and floss at least once a day.

good luck with your braces!
by the way, if you're wondering about it, tightening braces, to me, hurt more than getting braces on. because to be getting braces on was a 3/10 on the pain level, and tightening was about a 5/10.

again, good luck and have fun!Health Question & Answer

when my bro got braces on he loved jello, mac & cheese, soups, beans, corn, beans, steamed veggies. just anything u don't really chew but can swallow easily. i'd stay away from things that are too cold because they may give you tooth sores later, it will only be for a few days, getting em on is the worst, tightenings aren't as badHealth Question & Answer

just eat lots of soup.
mashed potatoes is pretty good too.
you should be able to eat in about 5 days...
