I had a tooth extracted two and half days ago... and it still really hurts, the holes getting smaller, but i was just wondering how long it is uncomfortable for .? and how long does it take for this horrible taste of blood to go away .?.?Health Question & Answer

keep your mouth clean with a salt water mouthwash when brushing teeth keep brush away from exposed socket, pain killers for pain relief it should settle down in a few days, you will just have to put up with the taste the salt mouthwash should help keep the taste awayHealth Question & Answer

Try taking 2 Advil or Aleve till pain stops.
Take a small piece of gauze, wet it with cold water & keep over tooth, it should keep you from tasting blood.
also drink lots of old fluids.

It depends on how fast you heal. Normally I heal after several days.
