He got a Comp score of 96. Is this a really good score or average.? He doesn't want anyone to know his score at school...funny guy.Health Question & Answer

It is a great score! After they recently changed the format of the board exam, the national averages dropped significantly. However, I'm sure the averages are slowly climbing. Your husband should check his score against the national average to see how well he did in comparison.

Obviously, it depends on what the national average is at the time he took it, but I would imagine that a 96 is an excellent score. When I took the board exam, the national average was approximately 83. I don't know if the average went up or down since.
I'm curious, though, as to why he was unable to tell you himself whether or not 96 is a good score.
I can, however, understand why he'd want to keep that information from his classmates.Health Question & Answer
